Luciano Kruk was born on July 20, 1974 in Buenos Aires. He studied at the University of Buenos Aires, earning the title of architect in the year 2000. Between the years 2000 to 2012 he was part of the study BAK architects (Besonías-Almeida-Kruk), where he obtained important awards for his work, highlighting the first awards in the category of individual housing in the Biennials of the College of Architects of the Province of Buenos Aires in 2007 and 2009, the Special prize Eduardo Sacriste granted by the CAPBA in 2005, the first prize Alucobond the Young architecture in 2005, and the Grand Prize, a Biennial CPAU/SCA in 2006. In the year 2012 he founded the studio Luciano Kruk Arquitectos where it develops until the present, numerous housing projects, individual and collective.

He has been a professor of Project at the University of Buenos Aires between the years 2000 to 2009. It currently develops its academic activity to be visiting professor in several universities in Argentina, Brazil, Mexico, Costa Rica, Ecuador, Spain, Italy and the united States. He has taught seminars and lectures at the Polytechnic University of Madrid (ETSAM), at the Polytechnic University of Valencia (UPV), at the University of Venice (IUAV), in the University of Santa Catarina in Brazil (UNIVALI), at the Universidad Veritas in Costa Rica, at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, and in the argentine Universities of San Martin (USAM), the Universidad Torcuato Di Tella (UTDT) Universidad de Palermo (UP) and the Universidad de Buenos Aires (FADU-UBA), among others.

His work has earned awards such as the Award SCA-CPAU for his work Casa L4 in the framework of the XVI Biennial of Architecture in Buenos Aires (2016). He has participated in international events and exhibitions such as the ‘Architecture Week Prague 2015’, where he was selected as representative of Argentina on the 9th Festival of Architecture and Urbanism to develop in Prague, Czech Republic, and the XXI Bienal Panamericana de Arquitectura de Quito (2018).
